Charles County Barn Explodes With Firefighters Nearby

WALDORF, Md. (WJZ) -- Incredible video from Southern Maryland as a barn explodes with firefighters nearby.

Smoke and fire filled an Amish barn in Charles County. Video then shows a diesel tank explode, sending a huge ball of flames way up in the air.

Waldorf volunteer firefighters were trying to cool the tank when the blast happened.

Amazingly, none of them were hurt.

Violent explosion occurs as Truck 3 is preparing ladder pipe operations at an Amish Barn fire in Hugesville, Md. August 18, 2015 when the diesel tank exploded. No injuries reported.
