Charges Dropped Against City Hall Protestors

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Charges have been dropped against 16 people who protested in an hours-long demonstration at city hall.

"All charges for the protesters at City Hall were abated by arrest," said Tammy Brown, a spokeswoman for State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby's office in a statement. The protestors demonstrated during a City Hall hearing on Oct. 14 when city council member approved the appointment of Police Commissioner Kevin Davis.

About 30 protestors remained after the hearing ended. At 4:45 a.m., the protestors including some teens were arrested.
