Chances Are, Your Dog Dreams About You, Says Harvard Psychologist

BALTIMORE, MD. (WJZ)-- A Harvard psychologist says dogs probably dream about their owners while they sleep, according to English website, Independent.

Dr. Deirdre Barrett, a clinical and evolutionary psychologists at Harvard Medical School, spent years studying sleep behavior in humans and says it's likely dogs dream about their everyday experiences, just like humans.

"Humans dream about the same things they're interested in by day, though more visually and less logically," Dr. Barrett told People.

"There's no reason to think animals are any different. Since dogs are generally extremely attached to their human owners, it's likely your dog is dreaming of your face, your smell and of pleasing or annoying you," said Barrett.
