Cecil County Man Arrested & Charged for Child Porn

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ)-- The Maryland State Police arrested a Cecil County man Wednesday on child pornography related charges.

42-year-old Joseph Deshon of North East, Maryland was charged with two counts of possession of child pornography and two counts of distribution of child pornography.

Earlier this year, investigators with the Maryland Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force developed information about the potential distribution of child pornography over the Internet. Deshon was identified as the suspect and a search warrant was served at Deshon's residence shortly after 5:00 a.m. this Wednesday.

Deshon was transported to the Cecil County District Court Commissioner's Office for processing and a hearing before a District Court commissioner. Deshon was held on a $400,000 bond.
