Baltimore Organizations Host Ceasefire Tailgate Event In Roland Park

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- As Baltimore continues to grapple with the increase of violent crime across the city, a local organization is calling for people to put the guns down.
Members of "I am The One Difference" and "Making Good in The Community" held a ceasefire tailgate in Roland Park Saturday.
The event featured games, arts and crafts, music, and food, while promoting peace in the community.
There have been 285 homicides in Baltimore so far this year.
