CBS Sports Analyst Brian Jones Previews The Upcoming College Football Season

Brian Jones is a college football analyst for the CBS Sports Network, and co-host of Gio and Jones on the CBS Radio Network.

Brian joined Ed and Steve to preview the college football season, and how he thinks the Terrapins will do this year.

Brian started off by talking about the Terps and what he expects from them this season saying "7 wins in the last two seasons and they cant seem to win a bowl game or stay uninjured...they've got a lot of holes to fill but I didn't expect them to win 7 games last year and they surprised me so maybe they can surprise me again this year."

Ed asked Brian about Michigan State QB Connor Cook not being named a captain and how much of a shock it is saying "I was surprised at that and it really did bother him quite a bit...the QB doesn't always have to be the guy leading the locker room though especially when you have guys like Shilique Calhoun on that defense."

Brian also talked about the starting QB position for the Buckeyes and who he would pick saying "for my money I would start Cardale Jones...I know J.T. Barrett can add dual dimensions running but Jones is no slouch in that department either."
