Carmelo Anthony Marches With Freddie Gray Protestors

BALTIMORE (WJZ) - A few big names joined the the marches around Baltimore Thursday -- including New York Knicks' Carmelo Anthony.

"This is my peoples, this is my family this is my community, so it was only right for me to come here and lead this march down to city hall," Anthony said.

Christie Ileto: Did you see what happened to Freddie Gray and all the protests that happened?

Anthony: Everybody saw what happened. It's out there. Everybody saw what happened. Everybody has their opinions about it. We're going to get justice one way or the other. But we just gotta do it in the right way. We can't burn down our community. We still gotta go back to our communities even when all of this is over.

Anthony joined hundreds in a 'I Love Baltimore' march Wednesday from North and Pennsylvania avenues to city hall.
