Police: Suspect Arrested After Spotted In Same Clothing Day After Crime

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A 17-year-old armed carjacking suspect is behind bars after police say an MTA officer spotted him wearing the exact same clothing the day after the crime.

Samuel McCullough, of Cockeysville, has been charged with armed carjacking and armed robbery.

The Baltimore Police Department responded to a robbery call at 10:35 a.m. on Saturday, at a garage in the 1000 block of Park Ave.

Responding officers met with two separate victims, who said two armed males had robbed them of their money, cell phones, and one had also been robbed of their car keys.

The suspects tried to leave in the stolen vehicle, but were unable to get out of the parking garage's exit gate, so they got out and fled on foot.

A description of the suspects was put out, and the next day, an MTA officer patrolling in the same area noticed a suspect wearing the exact same clothing as the suspect's description.

McCullough was taken into custody, though police were unable to recover a gun.

Police are continuing to search for the second suspect.
