DUNDALK, Md. (WJZ) -- A major break in a deadly hit-and-run accident in Baltimore County, but there are still some important unanswered questions.

Tracey Leong with more on the search for justice for the 34-year-old victim.

Police located the truck used to kill the woman last week. Now the search is on for the driver.

On January 10, a driver slammed their truck into 34-year-old Atriece Hall of Essex while she was walking home, killing her on North Point Boulevard in Dundalk, and then kept moving.

"She was a loving person. For somebody to run her over like that and just leave her, it's just sad," said Tammy Oxendine, ex-girlfriend.

Police say the truck involved is a 2006 red international.

Police are now reaching out to the public, hoping they'll have information to help track down the driver.

"This individual struck another person and then fled the scene without even bothering to check on them," said Cpl. John Wachter, Baltimore County Police Department.

The victims loved ones are urging the driver to just come forward.

"Her family is mourning the loss of someone. Just turn yourself in," said Oxendine.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police immediately.
