Car Goes Up In Flames In Rockville

ROCKVILLE, Md. (WJZ)-- A scary scene in Montgomery County as a car catches fire in a parking lot.

It happened earlier Sunday afternoon at Bouic Avenue and Rockville Pike.

A photo taken by Montgomery County Fire Spokesperson Pete Piringer shows smoke billowing from the car after it was fully engulfed in flames.

No one was inside the vehicle at the time of the fire.

Crews were quickly able to extinguish the flames.

There is no word on what may have sparked it.
