Car Crash Kills 1 In Prince George's County
UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) -- Police in Prince George's County say a man is dead after a car crash in Fort Washington.
Police say they were called to the intersection of Indian Head Highway and Palmer Road around 4:15 a.m. Saturday for a report of a collision between two cars. Police say a preliminary investigation indicates the driver of an Acura struck a Ford Expedition while they were traveling south on Indian Head Highway. The driver of the Acura lost control of his car and struck a tree. He later died at a hospital.
Police say speed appears to be a factor in the crash.
The driver of the Ford was not hurt. Police did not release either driver's name.
