BWI Set A New Record For Passengers In June

BALTIMORE (AP) — Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport says a record number of passengers flew through the airport in June, the twelfth straight month of record passengers.

The airport said in a statement Thursday that 2,347,077 passengers flew through the airport in June. The airport says that's an increase of 7.6 percent for a new June record.

The airport says that over the past 12 months, total passenger traffic at the airport has climbed 8.4 percent to 24.7 million, a fiscal year record.
