Bus Crashes Into Abandoned Building In Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—An abandoned building was destroyed when an bus came crashing into it on Wednesday afternoon.

It happened around 2:30 p.m. when police say a bus mechanic and sole passenger of the vehicle, was transporting the bus on S. Monroe Street when he had to swerve to avoid an object in the road. As a result of the swerve, the drive barreled into an abandoned building. Police say the build was already partially demolished.

No one was injured in the accident.

Police say weather appeared to be a factor.
