Buck Showalter In Studio At 105.7 The Fan

Buck Showalter joined the Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn after spending some time in our Up Close Studio.

Buck explains the various types of managing that occurs throughout the year from spring training to the hopeful postseason, it's all a different kind of game.

Garceau commented that it means something to the fans in Baltimore to have September baseball, but Buck says, "It's more than just 'means something,' we're planning on finishing the deal. Don't count us out."

Michael Bourn and Drew Stubbs are two new additions to the team. Buck commented on the two new players saying, "Stubbs is a plus defender and can play all three, he's a good runner and can steal a base - something that's been a challenge for us. Bourn is really similar, except he's left handed... both of them are good teammates, it should be a seamless fit."
