Brothers Charged With Attempted Home Invasion

MILLERSVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Anne Arundel County Police have charged two brothers with attempted home invasion after officers say the men tried to force their way into a Millersville mobile home.

It happened about 1:15 p.m. Monday at the KOA Campground. Police say a man claiming that a resident owed him and his brother money tried to force his way into the home at gunpoint.

Police say another resident kicked the suspect and kept him from getting into the home. Authorities say the man ran to a car driven by a second man. The two men were found a short distance away.

Thirty-seven-year-old Michael John Roy of North Middletown, New Jersey, and 38-year-old Ronald E. Roy of Red Bank, New Jersey, were each charged with attempted home invasion, assault and other offenses.
