Brittany Ghiroli Talks Bundy's Performance, Poor Officiating & Trade Deadline

Brittany Ghiroli, MLB.comOrioles reporter, joined Norris and Davis to talk about Dylan Bundy's pitching performance, the four reviews and poor officiating during the game last night and what the Orioles have in store before the trade deadline.

Bundy was pitching a great game last night until about the sixth inning. "Most people, myself included, knew that he wasn't going to be able to complete the perfect game. He just wasn't going to be able to throw that many pitches," said Ghiroli.

Norris asked about the rumors surrounding the trade deadline. Brittany said, "I think they're still poking around on pitching, but the top prospect right now is Cody Sedlock who [the Orioles] just picked up in the draft. Hunter Harvey is third and seventh and eighth are the two pitchers they got after Sedlock. So that shows you what their minor league system is right now. Who are they supposed to trade? Do you trade Chance Sisco knowing Wieters is [probably] gone after this year? There's just not a whole lot down there."
