Brittany Ghiroli Live From Spring Training
Brittany Ghiroli from MLB.com joined Ed and Steve to give us an update live from Orioles Spring Training.
Norris asked about Kim's hit and Brittany said, "There was some celebration. Certainly everybody noticed. In my opinion, he probably had the best at bats he had all spring yesterday, so that's a good sign. What does that mean? I don't know. But I think it's important to remember that if you look around the league at players that have come from the KBO, a lot of them have started slow. So the Orioles feel like there's still a chance."
Whether or not Kim improves can really impact the outfield, the hitters and the Orioles lineup overall.
Norris asked what the mental attitude is down in Sarasota with the winless spring training. Brittany said, "It's spring training. If people were down here, maybe they wouldn't be so upset about [the losses] watching who's playing. These games don't count."
