12 BPD Patrol Cars Still Held After Allegations Of Sexual Assault Possibly Involving Officer
BALTIMORE (WJZ) — All but a dozen of the 115 Baltimore police patrol cars held for an investigation of claims that a woman was sexually assaulted that may involve a police officer in the department have been returned to the street, Baltimore police spokesperson Nicole Monroe confirmed Wednesday evening.
As of Tuesday afternoon, there were still 90 Baltimore police patrol cars out of service amid the investigation. As of later Tuesday night, there were 81 cars still out.
Latest update is that 34 cars total are back in service. So, 81 remain out.

115 patrol cars were originally pulled from service.
Police spokesman Matt Jablow confirmed a woman reported the assault on Sunday, but did not say it had happened in a patrol car, but she had been inside one at some point.
