Boyfriend Charged With Attempted Murder After Baltimore Woman Cut

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A Baltimore man was arrested on Monday for attempted murder after he allegedly slashed his girlfriend multiple times with a knife, authorities said.

Nicholas McFadden, 29, of Fulton Avenue, remains in custody on a charge of attempted first-degree murder, according to police.

On April 15, an argument between McFadden and his then-girlfriend turned violent when she reported her cut her repeatedly with a knife, police said.

The 37-year-old victim, who was found with multiple lacerations in the 2000 block of West Baltimore Street, about 12:57 a.m. that day, survived.
