Boy Aspiring to Be K-9 Officer Feeds Police Across Maryland

BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ)--The big heart of an 8-year old boy feeds hundreds of Maryland law enforcement officers on Wednesday.

Matten Roy, 8, wants to be a K-9 officer when he grows up. The recent police shootings inspired him to reach out.

Matten got food donations from Texas Roadhouse and Mission Barbecue and invited officers from all over the state to lunch.

Several hundred came Wednesday to the FOP Lodge-4 in Carney and left with more than a full stomach.

Matten also handed out tickets for the more than 100-donated gifts.
