BALTIMORE (WJZ) - A campus will come together to honor the life of a student taken too soon.

Bowie State University announced Monday that they will hold a candlelight vigil for 23-year-old Richard Collins III. Collins was stabbed to death early Saturday morning on the campus of the University of Maryland.

Collins had just been commissioned into the army as a lieutenant and was due to graduate from Bowie State on Tuesday.
