Bowie Baysox Will Alter Name for One Night to Honor David Bowie
BOWIE, Md. (WJZ)-- The Bowie Baysox says for one night only they will honor the late David Bowie during a game on July 22.
Official say the Baysox will wear special David Bowie-themed jerseys during the game that will be auctioned off during an in-game jersey auction. Proceeds from the jersey auction will benefit Feeding America.
The tribute will even go as was as the pronunciation: changing Bowie Baysox (prononuced Boo-ee) to (Boh-ee).
The July 22nd game will be followed by a firework show.
