Both Directions of Route 40 Shut Down Due To Fatal Crash

BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- Both directions of Route 40 were temporarily closed off due to a fatal crash in Cecil County Wednesday.

The incident occurred at about 3:50 p.m. on the eastbound lane Pulaski Highway at Maloney Road in Elkton.

Nicolas Ambrosino, 19, of Delaware, was driving his 1994 Honda motorcycle, when a 1990 Cadillac attempted to cross Pulaski Highway and collided with the motorcycle killing Ambrosino.

The driver of the Cadillac was transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Pulaski Highway was shut down for three hours to investigate the scene.
