Carroll County Man Charged With Assault After Incident At Boston Inn Hotel

WESTMINSTER, Md. (WJZ) -- A Westminster man was charged with assault and destruction of property for allegedly pressing his fist against a woman's throat and smashing her car window.
Police said 38-year-old Vernon Saliard was with the victim at the Boston Inn when she knocked over the television in the hotel room and he became angry.
Saliard is being held without bond.
