Body Found On Prince George's County School Playground

SEABROOK, Md. (AP) -- Police are investigating a body found at a Prince George's County elementary school playground.

Prince George's County spokesman Michael Owen says 24-year-old Douglas Reyes' body was discovered Monday afternoon at a playground near a basketball court at Gaywood Elementary School in Seabrook.

Authorities say Reyes had suffered from trauma to the upper body and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Owen says investigators have strong leads in the case but are still working to establish a motive for the slaying.

Police have not released any further information about the incident.
