Body Discovered In Creek Along Silver Spring Trail
SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) -- Authorities are investigating the death of a person whose body was found in a creek along a Montgomery County trail.
Montgomery County police said in a news release that the body was found Tuesday night in the Northwest Branch Trail creek near the Capital Beltway's Inner Loop in Silver Spring.
Police have not said whether the person was a man or a woman.
Authorities say the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore will conduct an autopsy to determine the person's cause of death.
