Bobcat Operator Rescued From a Trench in Montgomery Co.

ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) — A Bobcat operator was rescued from a trench in a commercial building in Montgomery County.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service spokesman Pete Piringer said on social media that the worker sustained non-life threatening injuries during the accident, which occurred on Saturday afternoon.

WUSA-TV reports that the worker crashed into a seven-inch trench while excavating a sewer line at the Charles River.
