Blue Angels Give Fast Flying Excitement For Naval Graduation

BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- The Blue Angles gave crowds a pre-show to their performance set for Wednesday.

Tuesday's practice attracted spectators from across the county.

A lot of spectators are in town for the Naval Academy graduation this week.

The roar of the Blue Angels filled the air in downtown Annapolis.

"There they go. It just gives me chills," said Karen Porter of Kansas.

Porter is one of the many people who absolutely loves watching the Blue Angles whenever she can, and she's not alone.

"It never gets old. They're really neat, and to think that they are flying so close together. And there they go, just incredible," said Traci Jordan of New Jersey.

The magic was in the sky, even on a cloudy day, made people smile, and even brought out the kid in some.

"I've a always been interested in the Navy. I didn't go in myself. I like watching the planes fly, and all that, so it's always a really good time," said Jeramy Tolbert of Arnold, Maryland.

It's a good time that never gets old, whether you've seen the Blue Angles before, or they are inspiring someone for the first time.

"That's our future. That's our next fighter pilots. When you see little boys and girls looking up, because it gets me choked up, that's good," Porter said.

The Blues Angels show is scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday.
