Bicyclist Dies Following Hit-And-Run Crash Involving Dump Truck

BALTIMORE (WJZ)--Baltimore Police say a man has died after he was struck and killed by a dump truck Monday afternoon in Baltimore.

It happened around 1:25 p.m. at the intersection of Chester and Chase Street.

Police say a dump truck driver stuck a 54-year-old victim, later identified as Ralph Myron Roane of Dundalk, and then fled the scene.

Roane later died at the hospital.

According to investigators,the dump truck was last seen traveling northbound on Chester Street. A description of the truck is unavailable at this time.
