The Dundalk Heritage Fair is an annual event that occurs around July 4th of each year, including all manner of events and festivities. This year, the fair will include a parade and music by Heart by Heart, America, High Voltage (AC/DC Tribute Band), Dean Crawford & the Dunns River Band, Crack the Sky and quite a few others. There will also be Pig Races, Phineus T. Waggs and His Monkey Pal Django, Strolling Magician and a 10-foot-tall Uncle Sam. The Fair includes all of the things you would expect to find at a fair, as well, such as boardwalk games and food stands. Lastly and best, there will be a spectacular fireworks show.

Every Independence Day, Baltimore City celebrates by holding a fireworks celebration over the Bay. And what better way to view this display than on the water itself? With Cruises On The Bay's July 4th jetty, you can do just that! Join them as they skirt out that evening and watch the glass-like waters of the Chesapeake mirror the explosions in the sky commemorating the liberation of America! In addition to the light show, you can enjoy light snacks and a cash bar.

Every year, Baltimore Inner Harbor puts on a spectacular fireworks show at around 9:30. Show up at the Harborplace Amphitheater at 7, and enjoy a performance by the U.S. Navy Cruisers Band. The fireworks will be choreographed to the music, as well.
Consider, also, watching the show from the World Trade Center. Their Top of the World observation deck offers a 360 degree view of the Harbor from on high, and on July 4th, they will be offering their special Picnic At The Top event starting at 7.

Every year the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra puts on their Star-Spangled Spectacular, an open-air event wherein the orchestra plays the best patriotic music, all accompanied by a dazzling fireworks display. Hear local talent perform the opening National Anthem and sample the local fair as food trucks from all around the Baltimore area bring you their best offerings for the holiday event. While the music starts at 8, the gates to the beautiful Oregon Ridge Park open at 5, so come early and enjoy the food and park fun before settling in to watch the awesome spectacles and sounds.

When it comes to a full day of fun leading up to a fireworks display, Catonsville's Annual Parade and Fireworks is second to none in Maryland. Local residents begin putting out chairs up to a week ahead of time in order to get the best seats in the house. Catonsville offers 14 hours of fun, beginning at 8:30 in the morning with their annual bike ride to Ft. McHenry, and culminating in their 9:15 mammoth fireworks display. Attend the day's festivities and enjoy such events as a full layout of children's games on the Catonsville High School Athletics Field with a variety of fun activities; every activity including prizes and safe for kids of all ages. Food vendors will be everywhere you look, and musical concerts will continue between the grand parade and the grand fireworks display. It's quite a day for the entire family!
