Bel Air Bypass Now Open From Field Fire

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The Bel Air bypass was closed at Rock Spring Road on Sunday because of a Field Fire. Harford County Fire reports that the fire is now under control.

A field fire was at the Bel Air Bypass northbound SRT-24. The Bypass was closed at that intersection. It was suggested that area motorists avoid the area.

With high winds, dry conditions and downed power lines, reports of field and brush fires have appeared throughout the area in Harford, Cecil, and Howard Counties. Area fire crews have been diligent to keep fires under control and no injuries have been reported.
