Bank Robbery Suspect Struck By Police Car

BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- The suspect who robbed a Wells Fargo Bank was apprehended after being struck by a police car.

According to police, they were called to the Wells Fargo on York Road for a bank robbery. Police say a suspect approached a clerk and passed him a note demanding money.

The clerk gave the suspect an unknown amount of money and then fled---into the path of a police car responding to the robbery.

The suspect suffered an injury to the leg and was taken to the hospital for treatment. He is in stable condition and will be charged upon release.
