Baltimore's Kweisi Mfume Sworn In As Maryland's Newest Congressman

WASHINGTON, DC (WJZ) -- After twenty-four years, Kweisi Mfume is back in Congress.

Mfume won the special general election last week, reclaiming the seventh district seat he once held for 10 years.

He will fill the rest of the term of the late congressman Elijah Cummings.

He was sworn in Tuesday morning on the House of Representatives floor by a ceremonial session in Speaker Nancy Pelosi's lounge.

Today, we welcome Congressman-elect Kweisi Mfume of Maryland to the People's House.
