Baltimore's 'Great Blacks In Wax' Museum Undergoes Expansion

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The National Great Blacks in Wax Museum, which is a national museum established in 1983 that features prominent African American historical figures, is currently undergoing expansion.

Properties in the 1600 block of East North Avenue are being demolished so the museum can expand.

The new museum will span the entire block between Broadway and Bond Street, with a sprawling green space behind the museum.

The new facility will have space for exhibits, a gift shop, a genealogy center, theater, garden and classrooms.
