Baltimore Woman Faces 20 Years Behind Bars In Shooting Death

WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP) -- A Baltimore woman is facing 20 years in prison for her role in the death of a New York man last year.

The Carroll County Times reports 26-year-old Meghan Goforth of Windsor Mill pleaded guilty Tuesday to accessory after the fact in the shooting death of 23-year-old Luis Pol last year. Goforth and her boyfriend, 26-year-old Lester Aaron Snyder, are accused of killing Pol October 4 in Reisterstown after Goforth told police the two men had dispute over drug territory.

Police say Goforth drove her boyfriend to pick up Pol and Snyder shot him multiple times at an intersection. The two suspects drove away but were later apprehended.

Snyder is scheduled to a trial in August. Goforth will be sentenced after his case concludes.
