Baltimore Woman Celebrates 103rd Birthday With Socially-Distanced Parade

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A Baltimore woman celebrated a special birthday on Thursday and didn't let the coronavirus pandemic stop her.

Margie Murdock turned 103 on Thursday and marked the occasion with a special, socially-distanced birthday parade.

Family members and friends drove by, honking their horns and saying hello. Others dropped off flowers for the birthday girl.

Murdock said God is the reason she's celebrating.

If she could, she said, she'd be doing the electric slide.
