Baltimore Will Get A Shake Shack Soon
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore is getting a Shake Shack!
Shake Shack, is a New York-based burger and shake stand. It recently went public.
According to an announcement on its website, the Baltimore location will be at 400 East Pratt Street at The Inner Harbor across from the iconic National Aquarium.
"Baltimore is a thriving city that's steeped in American history, food and culture. We feel fortunate to be joining this community, and we're excited to have found such a great Inner Harbor location," said Shake Shack CEO Randy Garutti. "The Baltimore Shack will also have outdoor seating to take in the views of the harbor while enjoying a ShackBurger, fresh-cut fries and hand-spun shake."
Shake Shack is known for using 100 percent all-natural Angus beef burgers and fresh hand-spun shakes, as well as hot dogs, fries and more. It's also known for using sustainable materials in its stands and encouraging recycling.
It is slated to open in early 2015.
