Baltimore Students Will Be Notified When They Can Pick Up Devices Ahead Of New School Year

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Students in Baltimore that plan to pick up devices ahead of the upcoming school year will not be able to just show up at device giveaways.

Baltimore City Public Schools said they will notify students and parents by phone or email what days and times they can pick up laptops and WiFi hotspots.

CORONAVIRUS RESOURCES:

Officials urge people not to go to schools before getting a specific pickup time.

When showing up for device pickup, students will need to wear masks and bring their student IDs.
