Sen. Catherine Pugh To Run For Mayor Of Baltimore
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A high-profile addition to the race for Baltimore's next mayor.
State Senator Catherine Pugh tells WJZ she is running.
Pugh, the Senator Majority Leader, was a visible presence in West Baltimore during April's riots.
She also ran for mayor in 2011, finishing second to Stephanie Rawlings-Blake in the primary.
The Democrat is expected to announce her campaign Tuesday.
