Baltimore Police Officer Arrested In York Shooting
YORK, Pa. (WJZ) -- A Baltimore City police officer in uniform is accused of shooting a man outside an apartment complex in Pennsylvania. He's been charged with attempted homicide.

Officer John Torres found himself on the other side of the law Tuesday. York Area Regional Police in Pennsylvania say a heated dispute with David Hohman, 34, ended violently when Torres shot him in the torso and arms.
Detectives say the victim was sitting in his car.
"I can't confirm the total number--we're still looking into that--but there were multiple gunshots from one gun," said Sgt. Jeff Dunbar.
"I heard the gunshots," said Josh White.
White listened in horror as officers rushed to the scene.
Police say Torres was in uniform but off-duty at the time. They say he called 911, turning himself in.
Police say the shooting happened in a parking lot outside of the complex. Residents we spoke with off camera say this type of crime never happens steps from their front doors.
"It was very terrifying and surprising for a police officer," said resident Ryan Zhang. "Just because he's a police officer doesn't mean he can shoot anybody."
Baltimore City police say in 2008, Torres shot and killed fellow police officer Norman Stamp while responding to a fight at a nightclub. Stamp--off-duty at the time--was celebrating his 44th anniversary on the force.
As for Tuesday's shooting, there are still more questions than answers.
York Area Regional Police say Torres was cooperative and is facing aggravated assault and attempted homicide charges.
