Baltimore Police Investigating Shooting Near Lexington Market

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore Police are investigating a shooting near the intersection of Fayette Street and Eutaw Street that happened around 12:50 p.m. Monday.

It was near, but not inside, Lexington Market, police say.

Officers were on patrol in the area when they heard gunshots. They began to investigate and found an adult male in the 100 block of N. Eutaw Street with gunshot wounds to his body.

Officers immediately began CPR until the fire department arrived on the scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries.
