Baltimore Police Investigate Weekend Shootings

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore Police are investigating two shootings.

The first happened around 8:30 p.m. Saturday. According to police, they were investigating a car accident in the 900-block of Cooks Lane when they discovered an 18-year-old man with an injury to his head.

He was taken to the hospital, where doctors determined he had a gunshot wound. He is being treated at an area hospital.

Around 1:45 a.m. Sunday, there was a report of a walk-in shooting victim at an area hospital.

According to police, a 20-year-old woman was being treated for a graze wound to her chest. She told police she was standing on W. Franklin Street when she heard a gunshot and realized she had been shot.
