Baltimore Police Investigate Several Shootings

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore City police are investigating five shootings.

According to police, there was a shooting on E. 35th Street around 4:30. Police say a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt and glasses began firing at the victim, shooting him in the leg.

At 4:31 p.m., there was a shooting on W. Belvedere Avenue. The victim had been shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at 5:21 p.m.

Around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, a man was shot in the leg on W. Monument Street. Police say the man was attempting to collect rent money when a suspect attempted to rob him of that rent money. During the attempted robbery, the suspect shot the man in the leg. The victim is in good condition.

According to police, a man was shot in the foot on E. Lafayette Avenue. The victim is in good condition.

The final shooting was in the 9-hundred block of North Caroline Street. A victim was shot in the head. He is currently in critical condition.
