Baltimore Police Investigate Rash Of Shootings

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore police are investigating three shootings from Monday morning.

According to police, the first happened shortly before 12:30 a.m. Police were called to the 29-hundred block of Brighton Street for a shooting. When they arrived, they found a man had been shot in the head. He was taken to a local hospital; his condition is not known.

The second shooting occurred at 12:38 a.m. Police were called to Belair Road for a shooting. When they arrived, they found a man who had been shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

At 1:59 a.m., police were called to the 13-hundred block of N. Fulton Avenue for a shooting, where they found a man with a gunshot wound to the hip. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
