Man, 35, Charged With Murder In Deadly West Baltimore Shooting

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A 35-year-old man is under arrest in Wednesday's deadly shooting in West Baltimore.

Anton Harris is charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of 34-year-old Keith Johnson, Baltimore Police said.

Johnson was found shot multiple times about 3 p.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of North Pulaski Street, police said.

The 34-year-old was taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Harris was taken into custody a short time later after witnesses identified him as a person of interest in the case, police said.

A handgun was recovered as part of the investigation.

No details about a possible motive behind the deadly shooting were immediately released.
