Baltimore Police Identify 2 Homicide Victims

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Two men who were recently killed in Baltimore have been identified by police.

On March 4, at about 11:05 p.m., officers were called a home in the 1500 block of Durham Street to check the occupant's well-being.

Once inside the home, officers discovered the body of an unresponsive man. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene. On May 4, the Medical Examiner's Office ruled the death a homicide.

Detectives have now identified the victim as 77-year-old Raymond Chambers.

On May 6, officers responded to the 5700 block of Jonquil Avenue for report of a shooting.

The 45-year-old man who they found suffering from a gunshot wound to the shoulder died after being transported to Sinai Hospital.

He has been identified as Samuel Stewart.
