Police Arrest Suspect In Murder Of Popular Baltimore DJ

BALTIMORE (WJZ)- City police have arrested a 34-year-old man connected to the murder of a 53-year-old man.

Officers arrested Brandon Harris for the murder of Vincent Curtis, a popular Baltimore DJ, according to police.

At about 4 a.m. Friday, detectives responded to the 1200 block of Bloomfield Avenue, where they found Curtis suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest.

Curtis was transported to an area hospital where he later died.

Detectives obtained surveillance video and interviewed several witnesses and determined Harris was a suspect.

Harris has been charged with second-degree murder, first-degree assault and multiple handgun violations.
