Baltimore Man Pleads Guilty To 8 Robberies In 2 Weeks

BALTIMORE (AP) -- A Baltimore man has pleaded guilty to robbing eight businesses in a two-week period.

Forty-five-year-old Ricky Tolson entered the plea Friday in federal court in Baltimore.

According to his plea agreement, between June 7 to June 20, Tolson robbed gas stations, convenience stores and other businesses in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Prosecutors say Tolson made it appear that he was armed during the robberies.

If the judge accepts the plea deal, Tolson will get 15 years in prison at sentencing Jan. 5.
