Baltimore Man Gets 28 Years For Cocaine Trafficking

BALTIMORE (AP) -- A Baltimore man has been sentenced to more than 28 years in prison for shipping cocaine in hollow computer shells from California to Maryland.

Forty-one-year-old Richard Anthony Wilford, who was been convicted of conspiracy to distribute cocaine, was sentenced Thursday in federal court in Baltimore.

According to government evidence presented at trial, 18 shipments of cocaine were made to Wilford's home in 2010 and 2011.

Prosecutors say Wilford was responsible for the distribution of at least 200 kilograms of cocaine.
