Baltimore Man Charged With Attempted Murder in Dice Game Shooting

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- A Northeast Baltimore man is under arrest, accused of shooting another man following a dispute over a dice game in the Frankford neighborhood, police said.

On June 20, a 21-year-old man was shot in the back in the 5500 block of Bowleys Lane, according to police. Police said it happened when a feud after a game of dice turned violent.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.

On Monday, police arrested Delonta Holmes, 21, of Sheldon Avenue, on a warrant. He's being held without bail on a charge of first-degree attempted murder and a list of handgun violations.
